In 2005 SPCNI established a scholarship fund as a memorial to two outstanding members, Lewis and Adele Lawyer, both professional scientists, who were instrumental in taking SPCNI from a small plant interest club to a nonprofit corporation with international membership.
This fund awards grants to support researchers working on important topics concerning Pacifica Iris. Grant recipients are selected by the board. If you or someone you know might be a good fit for this grant please reach out to the SPCNI board. Applications are due in March, decisions are made by early May.
